Uji Matcha is produced from Gyokuro grown in the Uji region of Kyoto, Japan.

There are no preservatives or additives of any kind. Imported directly from Japan to preserve peak freshness.

Featuring rich and refined flavour, exceptionally fragrant aroma and lush deep green color, Uji matcha (powdered green tea) is ideal for tea drinks and as ingredient for both Japanese and Western-style confectionery.

Did you know?
The primary constituent of green tea is catechin, which makes green tea astringent . Catechin is a type of polyphenol - a natural antioxidant.

Matcha is now also popular in sweets, cakes and has become integrated into lattés, iced drinks, milkshakes, and smoothies.

As a guide measure out, at most, quarter to half a teaspoonful.
Try a small quantity first & adjust the amount of matcha to your taste.
Add hot water (about 70°C ) to cup. It mustn't be boiling water as this effects taste and nutritional benefits. Stir very well.
